HOW DOES THE INTIATE FREEDOM BUTTON WORK?
The Initiate Freedom button is used to send an instant outreach for assistance when time is of the essence and it matters most.
When the Initiate Freedom button is pressed, the sending member can choose the reason why he is sending the alert (Gun Seizure, Home Invasion, or you can create your own reason up [up to 25 characters]). Once you select your reason, you can select which of your Patriot Groups to send the alert to. Simply select the ones you wish to send to, or you can Select All. Then Continue and Confirm. Your Initiate Freedom Alert is sent.
The recipient members who are part of the selected Patriot Group(s) will receive a notification on their device letting them know that you have Initiated a Freedom alert, when the notification is pressed it will bring them to the Notifications screen, letting them know why you are sending the alert. When they click on the notification it will bring up the sending member’s location and ask them “Are you going?” If “Going” is selected, Google Maps will automatically open and navigate the member to the sender’s location. The sender will also get a ping back in their notification menu letting them know which recipients is en route to assist them.
2. WILL THE INITIATE FREEDOM BUTTON WORK IF I AM USING A VPN (VIRTRIAL PRIVATE NETWORK)?
No, if you use a VPN, it will tell your Initiate Freedom recipients that you are at whatever country they are at. In order to successfully share your location with your Patriot Group when it matters most, make sure your VPN is off when sending Intiate Freedom alerts!
3) CAN I CREATE MULTIPLE GROUPS?
Yes, you can create multiple groups.
4) HOW DO I KNOW WHO IS BEING NOTIFIED?
After pressing the “Initiate Freedom” button
you will see a menu showing all
of your current groups. Simply select
the groups you wish to send the alert to
and send!
5) HOW WILL I KNOW IF PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY COMING TO MY AID?
The receiving party will have the opportunity
to reply to your alert to notify you they are
en route. You can easily see who is
coming to your aid in your notifications tab.
6) What is the difference between a Chat Group and a Patriot Group Chat?
A Chat group is simply a chat that you create within the chat members and add 2 or more people to the chat (so 3 or more including yourself). A Patriot Group chat is created when a Patriot Group member creates a chat within the Patriot Group page (using the 3 dots to the right of that particular group’s tab) and clicking “chat”. This will create a Patriot Group chat and all members of the Patriot Group will automatically be added into it.
7) WHAT HELPFUL RESOURCES SHOULD I CONSIDER ADDING TO MY PATRIOT GROUP?
● 1-2 Local FFL’s – to take possession of your
firearms rather than handing them to law
enforcement, in states applicable.
● 1-2 Local 2nd Amendment and Constitutional organizations
● Gun Rights attorney’s to quickly begin defense and
provide counsel on your behalf.
● Dependable friends to be there and support
you while it is happening.
● Coworker – someone to explain to your
employer the events that took place and
help ensure your job security.
● Neighbor – someone who can be there within
seconds to record and document the event.
● Social media – Anyone in the country who has
a large social media outreach that can get your
story out first. This is key to preventing the
manipulation of your story and allowing media
to twist the story.
● GoFundMe (or similar fundraising service)– Someone designated to create a
gofundme on your behalf that will be broadcast
nationwide to assist with associated legal costs.
Ultimately, members have the freedom to set up their Patriot Groups how they see fit, these are simply our suggestions to help members have the most complete and organized Patriot Group possible when it comes to gun seizures.
